**Job Title: Billing Administrator**
**General Overview:**
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Billing Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, billing, and the collection of payments from designated payers at various locations. Your goal will be to ensure that all payments are reconciled accurately and in a timely manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**A. Essential Duties:**
- Process and post incoming payments, ensuring accurate reconciliation of receipts and adjustments to patient accounts.
- Resolve payment denials, generate secondary claims, and appeal discrepancies as needed.
- Conduct electronic payment matching (835) and address any payments that are missing Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
- Analyze EOB information, including co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, contractual adjustments, and denials. Rework and resubmit claims as necessary.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, or third-party administrators to clarify information for successful payment posting.
- Manage recoupment accounts to ensure timely settlements.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Effectively multitask and manage your time to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to all legal and regulatory policies and procedures.

- Provide support to colleagues as needed to maintain productivity and efficiency within the department.

**Qualifications:**
**Education:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
**Experience:**
- Experience in the medical field is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
