Job Description and Responsibilities

Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for fostering young minds? The Brunswick School is looking for a compassionate and dynamic Kindergarten Lead Teacher to join our growing team. Responsibilities

• Implement The Brunswick School curriculum

• Meet the individual needs of each child

• Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of students

• Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities

• Develop activities that introduce math, literacy, and science concepts

• Assess students actively and provide written documentation of assessments to parents/director bi-monthly

• Plan and facilitate cross-campus events that will enliven school culture and engage students in a meaningful way

• Support Center Directors with communicating the kindergarten curriculum during marketing events throughout the year

• Lead marketing events to support the school with recruitment for new child enrollment

• Communicate with parents in a professional, customer-centric manner

• Collaborate with Preschool Teachers to develop a scope and sequence that will provide continuity and prepare students to transition readily to kindergarten

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field.

• Teacher's certification in NJ in Early/Elementary Education or P-3 certification required.

• Must be willing to work flexible hours.

• Able to lift 40 lbs, walk, squat/kneel, sit on floor, see, hear, and speak with children to ensure children's health and safety.
