We are seeking a seasoned Distribution of Distribution with at least 10 years of experience in DC Operations. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory flow, maintaining high service levels, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of retail products.
• Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse supervisors and staff to meet performance goals.
• Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular audits, cycle counts, and efficient inventory management practices.
• Process Optimization: Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety standards.
• Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess productivity, accuracy, and on-time shipping performance, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution center’s budget, including labor costs, equipment maintenance, and operational expenses.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Collaboration: Partner with other departments, including supply chain, merchandising, and retail operations, to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications:
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience managing distribution center operations - Experience within the Apparel Industry is essential
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Skills: Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other distribution technologies.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, develop insights, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
• Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
