Grounds Maintenance Technician II: Roscoe, Illinois

Our client in Roscoe, Illinois, is seeking a skilled and reliable Grounds Maintenance Technician II to join their team. This full-time, 1st shift position offers competitive pay and benefits with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities of the Grounds Maintenance Technician II:

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy, including painting, cleaning, and light repairs.
• Respond to on-call maintenance requests for urgent needs such as lock-out services, lack of heat, water, electricity, flooding, or other immediate issues.
• Address daily service requests for apartment repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as light bulb replacements, furnace filter changes, and smoke detector battery checks.
• Conduct light appliance repair and HVAC maintenance.
• Handle snow removal and salting as required.
• Maintain swimming pool operations and cleanliness.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the office, clubhouse, and grounds.

Grounds Maintenance Technician II Requirements and Qualifications:

• Ability to self-direct and interact professionally with the public.
• Experience in painting, cleaning, and light appliance repair.
• Basic knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Own tools sufficient to complete most maintenance tasks.
• High school diploma required.
• Must reside within approximately 30 minutes of the property.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and other required screenings.

Pay for Grounds Maintenance Technician II : $20-$28/hour based on experience.
