Job Description

Summary:
The Grounds Technician will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of Mossyrock School District. The position is part-time and requires a high level of physical activity.
8 hours a day
Responsibilities:
- Mow and maintain lawns, athletic fields, and other outdoor areas
- Trim and prune trees, bushes, and other vegetation
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and other landscaping features
- Operate and maintain grounds equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots
- Maintain irrigation systems and repair as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on grounds equipment
- Assist with set up and take down for outdoor events
- Maintain cleanliness of grounds and facilities

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain grounds equipment
- Physical ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of landscaping and horticulture principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Mossyrock School District
