Carolinas Staffing is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Worker in Leland, NC!

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our outdoor spaces through various tasks including general cleanup, pressure washing, and upkeep of the grounds. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team to ensure our facilities are always in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general grounds maintenance tasks including trash collection, leaf removal, and debris clearing from walkways, parking lots, and landscaped areas.
• Use pressure washers to clean exterior surfaces, sidewalks, building exteriors, and other outdoor areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of outdoor furniture, fences, and any outdoor structures.
• Assist in maintaining the overall aesthetic of the property by ensuring landscaping areas (lawns, flower beds, shrubs) are neat and well-kept.
• Operate various equipment and tools (e.g., pressure washers, lawn mowers, trimmers) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect and maintain grounds regularly for any maintenance or safety concerns and report issues to supervisors.
• Support seasonal clean-up initiatives, including snow removal (if applicable), storm cleanup, and leaf collection.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure proper use and maintenance of all equipment and machinery.
• Work with the facilities team to ensure that any additional maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Ability to use power equipment safely and efficiently.

Pay: $14-$18

Hours: 8am - 5pm M-F
