The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, strong case management abilities, and the capacity to supervise support staff. This role involves managing a variety of immigration cases, ensuring timely and effective client representation, and contributing to the firm's supportive and dynamic work environment. Duties: Handle a diverse caseload of immigration matters, including family-based and employment-based cases. Conduct thorough research and draft legal documents, including petitions, briefs, and affidavits. Supervise and provide guidance to support staff, ensuring efficient case management and adherence to firm procedures. Advise clients on their immigration options, including visa applications, green card processes, and deportation defense. Prepare clients for interviews and hearings with immigration authorities. Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on their case status and progress. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to develop and implement case strategies. Stay informed of changes in immigration law and policy, and apply this knowledge to client cases. Attend and represent clients at immigration court hearings and other legal proceedings as required. Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner. Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Admission to the State Bar of California. Preferably 1+ years of experience in family or employment-based immigration law. Strong interest in and commitment to immigration law.
