Experience with:
* Cobol and CICS. (candidates MUST be able to develop in COBOL AND CICS - no exceptions)
* Job Control Language (JCL) and job scheduling.
* IBM mainframe (z/OS).
* TSO
* All aspects of the software development lifecycle and workflow.
* Visual Studio for source control.
* SQL (Structured Query Language).
* DB2
* QMF
* XPEDITER
Preferences:
* Experience developing in MicroFocus Cobol using App Master Builder and Native COBOL will be given high preference.
* Experience with application development in highway inventory systems.
* Experience with SQL Server 2012 and higher.
* Experience with designing and building secure ASP.NET applications would give candidate ability to program in C# as well as COBOL.
* Experience with Web/Windows Services.
* Experience with SSRS reports.
* Experience with Agile development methodology of 2+ years.
* Experience with Mainframe Migration (re-hosting or re-platform).
