Job Description - Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and create detailed budgets for materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers during the pre-construction phase to align budgets with project goals.
- Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project specifications.
- Analyze market trends and update cost databases to reflect current material and labor pricing.
- Prepare and present comprehensive bid packages to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support project teams with budget modifications and cost evaluations during construction.

The Successful Applicant - 5+ years of estimating experience, specifically in multifamily residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and methods related to multifamily projects.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as PlanSwift, ProEst, or Bluebeam.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple estimates concurrently.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for working with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
