• Meet with the customer to understand the security needs and develop requirements and test plans.
• Identify candidate technologies and evaluate them against the defined requirements. Become an expert on the system and be able to communicate how the system enables the solution and where it's limitations lie.
• Work with internal teams to assess and resolve all privacy, network security, and scalability concerns for the systems.
• Write high quality documentation for system standards and operations. Work hand in hand with installation and administration teams to field the solutions.
• Continually re-evaluate the systems to ensure they are still effective and actively assess how new technology developments or changes in the environment may require new solutions.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on security engineering needs and requirements for system performance, installations, and sustainment programs and provide recommended improvements per industry best practices
• Work schedule will be hybrid after the first 90 days, however candidate needs to be located in the DC area to support on-site work

• Applications selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance is required.
• Applicant must be able to obtain EOD to start working on client site.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5 year of experience in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.
• Or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree in Engineering.
• Ability to design and sustain PACS Head End system
• Understanding of System Architecture
• Ability to effectively communicate with various customers, vendors and peers
• Ability to coordinate with various teams to include Network, Information Assurance, and Server teams
• Ability to meet with stakeholders on a daily basis
• Ability to obtain PACS (Physical Access Control Systems) Vendor Certification within 90 days of employment.

• Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) is highly desired; Engineering, Design, or Hands-on:
• ACS - Access Control Systems
• IDS - Intrusion Detection Systems / Perimeter Intrusion
• CCTV - Closed Circuit Television
• Certifications in any of the major Electronic Security Systems is highly desired:
• Software House CCURE, Lenel, AMAG, Bosch, etc.
• Experience with IT systems
• Experience with design, sustainment, and system architecture of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS)
• Experience meeting with customers. This is a client facing position consisting of daily involvement with stakeholders

• Working knowledge and/or certification with electronic security manufacturers such as Lenel, AMAG, Software House, Bosch, Pelco, Genetec, HID, Axis, and Geutebruck.
• Familiarity with physical security designs, standard operating procedures, and security operations
• Experience with Physical Security Systems - Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and CCTV
