Job Description
The main responsibility of the Revenue Operations Manager is building, optimizing, and analyzing the internal infrastructure for generating revenue to align our sales, marketing, and customer success efforts to generate predictable revenue.
Principal (Essential) Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue operations strategy to maximize efficiency and effectiveness across the entire customer lifecycle
- Identify and execute key performance indicators (KPIs) to track, analyze revenue performance, and recognize areas for improvement- - Build and maintain a robust reporting system to provide insights into revenue generation activities and trends
- Manage the sales process, identifying bottlenecks, and implement solutions to streamline operations
- Collaborate with the President to forecast revenue and set realistic targets
- Guide the Business Development Representatives (BDR) team while providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets
- Monitor BDR performance, providing coaching and feedback to enhance their skills and productivity
Other Duties
- Serve as the administrator and expert for HubSpot, ensuring its optimal configuration and utilization across all departments
- Develop and administer workflows, automation, and integrations to improve efficiency and data accuracy- Provide training and support to the team on HubSpot best practices and new features
- Manage the relationship with the marketing agency, ensuring alignment with overall revenue goals and efficient execution of campaigns
- Responsible for the agency's budget and performance, tracking key metrics and holding them accountable for results
- Collaborate with the company to advance and apply effective marketing strategies that generate qualified leads
- Complete special projects as assigned and perform other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven history of successfully implementing revenue operations strategies and driving revenue growth
- Deep understanding of sales processes, marketing automation, and customer relationship management (CRM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM is essential
- Experience managing external vendors and agencies
Experience/ Education/Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is recommended
- Experience in the EdTech space
- Experience with sales enablement tools and techniques
- Familiarity with various marketing channels and tactics
- Knowledge of inbound marketing methodologies
- HubSpot certifications
Working Conditions/ Physical Demands:
- Comfortable with minimal travel, no more than 15%Perform work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force infrequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to move objects
- See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity; kneeling, standing, walking, crouching, stooping, reaching and other similar tasks requiring physical activity
- Operate a computer, copier, printer, fax, and telephone
