Job Description

Meet the Team Nexus Dashboard Insights is an on-prem service that provides the easiest way to handle, operate, and analyze Cisco’s Datacenter Networking portfolio of products. This highly scalable service provides Intent-Based Management, Orchestration, and Data Analytics functions for our customers to securely operate their global infrastructure across on-premises data centers. Nexus Dashboard Insights group at Cisco is working on building next generation products and services at scale towards our Day 2 Operations strategy. Our industry-leading award-winning products and services are already used by thousands of companies across the globe in a variety of on-prem environments. Your Impact You will be working on the Cisco’s Nexus Dashboard Insights features that are being developed to provide visibility, analytics and auto-remediations for networks. You will work with a diverse group of some of the brightest problem solvers and thinkers in the Nexus Dashboard Insights team that work on next generation solutions using ML algorithms to find, predict, co-relate big data to simplify Day 2 monitoring for large networks. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree within a STEM focus
  • 6+ years experience as a software engineer, managing tasks such as algorithms, data structures and system design.
  • 3+ years programming and automation experience with C++, Python or GO
  • Experience with IP Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with ElasticSearch or Mongo databases
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker, service oriented architecture
  • Experience with using and debugging Linux environments
  • Prior development experience with Cisco networking product portfolio
