SportTechie exists to analyze and illuminate the growing number of ways technology is evolving the global sports industry. After several years of growing our readership and reputation we are proud to be at a point where we can expand our team to pursue an array of exciting growth opportunities. Thus, we are seeking a creative and independent intern to support the production of visual content across all aspects of SportTechie. Job Description You will be empowered to: Transform written editorial into visually compelling images that entice the reader to engage Illustrate written content with visuals to enhance overall editorial presentation Create a variety of in-house promotional content that clearly illustrates important SportTechie messages and branding Help establish organized design workflows and templates for recurring projects Exercise creativity and explore your own ideas Gain experience working with the editorial and sales team at a fast-paced media startup What we are looking for: An independent, self-motivated college student or recent graduate with at least two years of graphic design experience, preferably for web; knowledge of social media best practices is a plus A confident designer who can take direction but also thrives in the creative process when taking projects from conceptualization to completion Excel at exhibiting creativity within brand guidelines and exercising sound editorial judgment Strong experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign required; After Effects and Premiere experience is a plus A consistent, reliable, and flexible team player who values attention to detail and is comfortable working with little supervision to meet often fluctuating deadlines under pressure Desire to learn and develop new skills necessary for a career as designer, multimedia content producer, or marketer Qualifications All Applicants Must: Be able to work remotely with consistent communication with the SportTechie team Possess a personal Mac or PC capable of running Adobe CC Be able to commit to negotiable weekly hours Additional Information Compensation: Monthly stipend If interested in this opportunity, contact us with writing samples and cover letter. #J-18808-Ljbffr SportTechie
