When a human looks at a picture of an item, they can identify what the item is, how to handle it and whether it appears to be damaged. We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM). The candidate will work with our Engineering teams as we partner with Robotics, Fulfillment/Supply Chain, Science and Hardware Engineering teams to innovate technical solutions. The candidate will drive cross-functional initiatives both in terms of guiding the design/development within our group and getting work prioritized across multiple partner teams and stakeholders. The candidate will thrive in a highly collaborative, creative, and analytical environment.
A successful candidate will have an established background in developing products at scale. They will demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent stakeholder management and leadership in communication across individual and organizational levels. This is a technical program management position for someone who can navigate roadmaps in the midst of ambiguity but also adapt product visions quickly when new data becomes available.
Key job responsibilities
Your specific responsibilities include:
• Working closely with Product Managers, Software Development, Hardware Engineers, Operations, Science, and external tech teams to ensure delivery towards strategic goals.
• Managing business and technical requirements, coordinating design, be responsible for the overall coordination across multiple stakeholders, and to ensure program productivity.
• Building mechanisms to help our customers gain
insights, and build road maps for the projects you own while managing relationships and reporting with leadership across AFT and our customers / stakeholders.
• Developing strong internal relationships with key internal stakeholders and drive cross-team and cross-org alignment.
• Establishing priorities across multiple workstreams and initiatives.
• Finding creative ways to unblock challenges that arise and deciding when to escalate.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
