Joseph’s Classic Market is dedicated to delivering high-quality gourmet foods while fostering a strong connection with our customers. As we expand our presence, we seek a Videographer and Editor for our Cooking at Home Series, featuring one of the owners as the Chef influencer. This role will focus on producing dynamic food-related videos, including gourmet cooking demonstrations, recipe highlights, behind-the-scenes market operations, and engaging culinary storytelling. The ideal candidate is proficient in video editing software, skilled in setting up professional lighting, and experienced with third-party effects to enhance production quality. Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate on content strategy, ensuring videos align with our marketing goals and social media engagement strategies.

This role will be a mix of both onsite and off-site videography, all within Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Video Production & Editing: Film and edit high-quality videos featuring gourmet cooking, recipe highlights, and engaging food-related content.
• Lighting Setup: Ensure proper lighting for shoots, whether in-store, kitchen environments, or off-site locations.
• Third-Party Effects & Enhancements: Utilize third-party effects, graphics, and animations to elevate video production.
• Content Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with the Chef brand influencer on his vision for developing engaging content to elevate our social media presence and brand awareness.
• Brand Alignment: Ensure all video content aligns with Joseph’s Classic Market branding and messaging.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and manage video production equipment.
• Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest social media video trends, especially in the food and cooking niche, to optimize engagement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in videography and video editing.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of lighting setups for various filming environments, especially food-focused content.
• Experience with third-party effects, graphics, and motion design.
• Ability to edit for different social media formats (vertical for Instagram Reels, horizontal for YouTube, square videos for social posts).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Openness to contributing to content strategy and brainstorming creative ideas.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work as a freelance contractor (with the option to transition to a part-time employee) or start as a part-time employee with a set schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in food-related videography or social media-driven content creation.
• Familiarity with YouTube and Instagram video trends, including Shorts, Reels, and food content best practices.
• Knowledge of color grading and advanced video effects.

This is a freelance opportunity with flexible hours, which may be negotiated hourly. Each session will include multiple video recordings.
